About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Mobile Driver Security Officer in Durham, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients at a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The role includes paid training and access to career growth opportunities. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, donors, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to help maintain controlled access to the healthcare location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
