About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Driver in New Haven, Connecticut, to safeguard clients at a retail location. The role involves visible security patrols, customer service, monitoring activity, responding to incidents, and documenting events. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 4:30 PM–11:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations, following site procedures.
Monitor access points and customer and associate activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
