About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving position at a utility-related location in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The listed pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Duties include following security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for this driving position.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
