Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Response Driver
About The Position
As a full-time unarmed mobile response driver in San Diego, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a residential community. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service to residents and visitors. The role involves following site-specific policies and security procedures, responding to incidents and emergencies as directed, monitoring access and visitor activity, and documenting patrols and actions taken. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.60 per hour.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license, as required under Allied Universal driver policy for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with company and site-specific reporting requirements.
