About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Savannah, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $20.17 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Provide customer service and maintain a visible security presence to help deter security-related incidents.
