About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Patrol Response Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Woodland Hills, California, you will help safeguard clients and support tenants, visitors, vendors, and property personnel. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible security presence, respond to incidents and alarms, monitor access activity, and document events. The role emphasizes customer service, communication, professionalism, and adherence to site-specific procedures and emergency response policies.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property personnel while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
