About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer serving a residential community in Canyon Lake, California, you will conduct bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate security-related concerns, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The listed schedule is 10:00 AM–3:00 PM on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Pay is $20.16 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
Ability to ride a bike.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply depending on state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and visitors while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed bicycle patrols of residential common areas, streets, amenities, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity according to community procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; document observations and complete required reports.
Communicate relevant security-related information to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as appropriate.
