About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Bicycle Patrol CPR in Houston, Texas, to serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. The officer rides throughout assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and reports security-related concerns. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. The scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM and Friday from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local law prior to employment, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Accurately document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and logs.
