About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location in Corpus Christi, Texas. The officer conducts bicycle patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, responds to alarms and campus needs, and provides customer service and communication to support a welcoming environment. The role involves patrolling campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations; observing campus activity; reporting concerns; and documenting activity and incidents. The pay rate is $14.21 per hour. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Requirements

Must be able to ride a bike.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed bicycle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
