About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location in Miami, Florida. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access and alarm-related concerns, and providing customer service. The role includes responding professionally to security incidents and communicating and documenting relevant information.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, depending on applicable state or local requirements.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Alarm panel experience.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and clients while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in accordance with property procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking facilities, entrances, amenities, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site policies; report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and property concerns, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
