About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to support a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Columbus, Ohio. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas and access points, responding to incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role requires integrity, reliability, and a team-focused approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, critical situations, and access-control concerns, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
