About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Archbald, Pennsylvania, you will safeguard an aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. This is a part-time position with scheduled shifts on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.51 per hour. The role includes carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and maintaining accurate activity logs and reports.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements; report unauthorized access attempts or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
