About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Monitoring Patrol in Glassboro, New Jersey, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. The role is part of a team focused on integrity, innovation, teamwork, and customer service.

The position is full-time and pays $17.08 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Customer service experience.
• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas at the food production and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and remain aware of deliveries and vendor traffic.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
