About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for alarm monitoring in Montgomery, Alabama. The position offers a designated site and a dependable weekly anchor shift, which requires a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, providing the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week while retaining the option to scale back. The role is intended for candidates seeking part-time work, income stability, and flexibility.

The listed schedule is Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and the pay rate is $16.30 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

• Experience using alarm panels.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial office buildings, parking areas, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.
