Security Officer Part Time Alarm Monitoring Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California. The officer will safeguard tenants, visitors, and vendors by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access-control procedures, and responding professionally to security concerns. The role requires clear communication, integrity, customer service, and teamwork. The position is scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The pay rate is $24.90 per hour. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
- Alarm panel experience.

- A guard card or license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity and support access-control procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
- Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with property management, tenants, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
