About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned financial institution in Irving, Texas. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor schedule with a six-month commitment, plus the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide an opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to scale back. Pay is $19.50 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in security-related work.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.
• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in assigned areas; report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
