About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for facility patrol at an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Westlake, Ohio. The position provides a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may be available across multiple sites, allowing hours to vary and potentially build up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Commit to the designated site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment hazards, damaged property, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
