About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Facility Patrol in Rockport, Texas, for an assigned healthcare site. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The scheduled shift listed is Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.45 per hour.

The officer provides security and customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests; patrols hospital and surrounding areas; assists with access control; responds to incidents and emergencies; and documents observations and activities. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations. The role may require restraining individuals. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Applicable state or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions requiring attention.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as directed, and providing directions to patients and visitors.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
