About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. No experience is required, and paid training is provided. This is a temporary post with a full-time day-shift schedule: Tuesday, 12:00 PM–6:00 PM; Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM. Pay is $18.80 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
