About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver for an assigned site in Woodland Park, New Jersey. The role provides a designated weekly shift as a dependable base schedule and requires a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours per week and adjusting hours as needed. The listed pay rate is $15.92 per hour.

The officer provides security and customer service at a financial institution, monitors access and visitor activity, responds to incidents and alarms, conducts unarmed patrols, and documents and communicates relevant activity. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Applicable licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must comply with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require candidates to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures; verify credentials and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site protocols, and contact emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
