About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver for an assigned government location in San Bernardino, California. This part-time role provides a dependable fixed weekly schedule, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform and potentially work up to 40 hours per week. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. The position pays $21.99 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

The officer provides customer service while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include unarmed patrols, monitoring access and activity, responding to incidents, and preparing reports and activity logs. Applicants are subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or public agency resources as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and interactions.
