About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol in Columbus, Georgia, serving an aerospace and defense location. The officer conducts routine patrols and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while providing customer service and clear communication. The role supports a welcoming and secure environment as part of a team. The position pays $17.69 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by applicable law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and potential hazards, and promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site procedures.
Provide customer service and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
