About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Enhanced - Flex - Patrol in West Chester, Ohio. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The position is intended for part-time work and offers flexibility to increase hours, potentially up to 40 hours per week, or scale back as needed. The listed schedule is Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Pay is $17.51 per hour, paid weekly.

The Security Officer provides customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel; conducts unarmed patrols; monitors access and activity; responds to incidents and alarms; and documents activity according to site and company procedures. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by following site procedures, access-control practices, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, and report maintenance issues, hazards, policy violations, and other security concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
