About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Twentynine Palms, California. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned government human services location, with the option to claim additional shifts at other sites through the company scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may work up to 40 hours per week by picking up additional shifts and can scale back when needed. The pay rate is $21.49 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government human services location while following site procedures, access-control protocols, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and help maintain orderly movement through the location.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
