About The Position

As a Security Officer Personnel Access Control at an automotive manufacturing location in Lathrop, California, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a welcoming, professional presence. You will communicate with employees, visitors, contractors, delivery personnel, and team members while helping deter security-related incidents and following site-specific procedures. This is a part-time position scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a pay rate of $22.52 per hour. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control entry and exit points at an automotive manufacturing location; verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor or contractor documentation.
Manage vehicle, delivery, and pedestrian access according to site procedures, including directing individuals to designated check-in locations.
Respond calmly to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, delivery zones, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
