About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for surveillance and security work. The officer monitors security systems and screens to identify suspicious activity and potential threats, documents incidents, responds to emergencies, and helps protect people and property. The role also includes conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, verifying visitor identities, identifying security-system vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborating with law enforcement when needed. The site is in Georgetown, Texas, with multiple schedules and both full-time and part-time openings. The hourly wage is $18.50. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• A Texas Security License, or the ability to obtain one.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
