About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security officer for a logistics and distribution location in Tampa, Florida. The officer will help safeguard the site, deter security-related incidents, support smooth operations, and provide customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values. The position pays $16.00 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel and vehicle entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, docks, warehouses, office spaces, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
