About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a chemical and petrochemical location in Mertztown, Pennsylvania. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observes and reports conditions, and provides customer service and communication. The role supports a welcoming, well-protected environment through integrity and teamwork. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.60 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; document and report observations according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access activity and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization according to site requirements.
Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
