About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Weslaco, Texas. The officer will safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while providing customer service and carrying out site-specific security procedures. The role involves routine and random patrols, access monitoring, incident response, documentation, and reporting security, maintenance, and safety concerns. The position is scheduled Monday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at $12.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Report maintenance concerns, hazards, property damage, and other security-related issues observed during patrols or while assigned to the post.
