About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location in Cleveland, Ohio, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, observing and reporting security-related concerns, and providing professional customer service and clear communication. This full-time role serves visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific procedures and security policies. The listed pay rate is $17.73 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government facility while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established emergency response procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site requirements; verify credentials and document entries, exits, and incidents as required.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when appropriate.
