About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Area Coverage in Brownsville, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role includes routine rounds, reporting security-related concerns, and providing customer service and clear communication. This is a part-time position scheduled Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $10.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the manufacturing location, including production areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
