About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Coxsackie, New York, to serve and safeguard clients at an industrial location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, respond to concerns, and provide customer service through clear communication. The role is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and pays $21.24 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and property concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and shift activity records.
• Report facility issues, follow post orders, and support security-related operations as assigned.
