About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Ruston, Louisiana, to support a financial institution. The officer will help safeguard the client by conducting routine interior and exterior patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access and visitor activity, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The role includes responding calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and other security needs, escalating matters according to site procedures, and documenting activities and incidents. The position pays $15.00 per hour, with weekly pay. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policy, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with company and site requirements.
