About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer to patrol a commercial real estate location in La Jolla, California. The officer will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide responsive customer service. The position pays $21.42 per hour and is scheduled overnight: Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter.
Identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and security-related issues.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and tenant activity in accordance with site procedures.
Report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established emergency response procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports.
Communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
