About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a commercial real estate location in San Diego, California. The officer will help safeguard the property by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access, documenting observations, responding to incidents according to established procedures, and providing professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel. The role is scheduled overnight from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization according to site procedures, and document relevant entries, incidents, and observations.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
Maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment for occupants and guests.
