About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, you will help safeguard the client and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and pays $17.25 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe site activity for unusual conditions, help deter unauthorized access, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and complete required reports in accordance with site policies.
