About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in San Francisco, California, you will safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. This is a full-time position paying $29.00 per hour, scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Experience with alarm panels.
Possession of a guard card or license.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site-specific policies, security procedures, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations in daily activity and incident reports.
