About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, you will safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements; document relevant activity and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established post orders, and contact emergency services and/or site contacts when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs to support continuity of security-related operations.
