About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Lewes, Delaware, you will serve and safeguard clients at a government location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. The position is full-time and pays $17.34 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific procedures and security policies at a government location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report unusual conditions and unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and guest direction in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with company and site requirements.
