About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for mobile patrol at a logistics and distribution location in South Chesterfield, Virginia. The officer conducts routine driving patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role involves responding to security concerns, communicating professionally, and providing customer service. The position pays $19.45 per hour and is scheduled Monday and Thursday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state and local law and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when handling incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
Complete required reports, logs, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with site procedures.
