About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Hagerstown, Maryland, to support a food and beverage location. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting routine patrols, responding to concerns, and providing customer service to help create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and operations. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Observe and report conditions that may affect facility operations, food production areas, or security-related procedures, following established reporting protocols.
