About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Columbus, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients while supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and contribute to a reliable team that acts with integrity. The role is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, at a pay rate of $18.60 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements if applicable; licensing may be required before employment.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and in accordance with established site procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, communicate professionally with occupants and guests, and report security-related observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with site requirements.
