About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a retail and entertainment location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The officer will help safeguard clients, guests, and staff by conducting unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, and providing customer service. The role includes responding professionally to incidents and concerns, documenting activities using a computer or tablet, and supporting a welcoming environment. The stated pay rate is $22.30 per hour. The posted schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM; Friday and Saturday, 6:00 PM–2:00 AM; and Sunday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local laws and may need to be met before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, team members, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to established procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of entertainment, dining, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe guest activity to support a welcoming environment and adherence to location rules.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
