Security Officer Full Time Overnight Patrol Driver

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol driver to serve at a manufacturing and industrial location in Durham, North Carolina. The role involves routine patrols and a visible security presence to help deter incidents and provide a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. Officers are expected to provide customer service, communicate clearly, report promptly, and represent the company’s stated values.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to applicable state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
