Security Officer Full Time Overnight Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The officer conducts routine interior and exterior patrols, monitors access points and alarms, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provides customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The position uses computer or tablet tools to document observations and communicate with team members. The schedule is overnight, Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access activity and visitor movement, reporting unauthorized access attempts, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate shift handoffs professionally.
Use computer or tablet tools to document observations and communicate with team members.
