About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Petersburg, Indiana, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to situations, and help support a welcoming environment while demonstrating the company’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

The schedule is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.71 per hour. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
