About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver for a healthcare location in Clayton, North Carolina. The role involves providing security and customer service, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and responding to incidents and emergencies. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The pay rate is $16.48 per hour. The scheduled hours are Thursday through Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience with access control and badge systems.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the plasma collection location, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe facility activity to support visitor, employee, and donor entry procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed security activities according to site and Allied Universal reporting procedures.
