About The Position

As a Part Time Unarmed Visitor Screening Security Officer in Cherry Hill, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients at an outpatient medical facility. You will help support a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with patients, staff, and visitors, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. The position offers the opportunity to build a schedule using the Claim a Shift platform. The role is part time and pays $20.96 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, 12:45 PM–8:45 PM, and Saturday, 6:45 AM–6:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen individuals and permitted belongings entering assigned campus locations using established procedures and security-related equipment.
Verify access credentials, direct visitors to appropriate locations, and communicate entry requirements professionally.
Respond calmly to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
Maintain accurate screening-related logs and reports, and help deter unauthorized access at assigned education facilities.
