About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Waverly, Nebraska, you will serve and safeguard clients in an industrial location. In this access control role, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access activities, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. You will help maintain a secure environment through clear communication, accurate documentation, and professional interaction. The position is part time, with a schedule of Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $19.10 per hour. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals and vehicles to appropriate areas.
• Control entry and exit activity for personnel, deliveries, and commercial vehicles according to established site procedures.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
