About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Del Rio, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. In this access control role, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and documenting security-related activity. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping deter incidents through a professional, visible presence.

This is a full-time position paying $10.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–9:00 PM, and Saturday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements where required by state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and document security-related activity.
